This project expands the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) with the construction of the Cardiovascular and Stroke Institute (CVSI) tower. The CVSI will be a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to cardiovascular and stroke care, featuring 218 dedicated beds. For optimal patient care, the CVSI will boast direct connections to both the existing HSC and the new emergency building.

Designed with a focus on patient experience, the CVSI tower will also serve as a new, welcoming entrance to the HSC campus. Intuitive wayfinding approaches will ensure patients can easily navigate the facility.
